New
Australian design for living, Freestyle
brings together the work and stories of 40 outstanding Australian
designers from the fields of furniture, lighting, textiles, home-wares,
fashion, jewellery and accessories. This exhibition aims to reflect
the character, vibrancy and increasing maturity of contemporary
design in Australia. Currently on until 22 July 2007 at the Queensland
University of Technology Art Museum, Brisbane.

Smart
Works displays the inspirational work of 40 Australian
and New Zealand designers and makers. It explores the choices
and challenges that each of these individuals has faced in putting
their work into production. Fashion exhibitors include; Donna-May
Bollinger, Caravana, Ray Costarella, Dinosaur Designs and Akira
Isogawa. Now on at
The Powerhouse Museum, Sydney until 19
August 2007.
