Look out for these fantastic new collections hitting stores over July and August.

Alice McCall's
"Call of the Wild" collection is sleek with a playful edge. Silk geometric print dresses, feminine blouses and sexy jumpsuits in a palette of pinks, lime and bright yellow paired back with rich fabrics in black, white and beige. Structured military inspired separates with industrial hardware buttons and fastening in gold give a powerful luxurious edge whilst zips, locks and keys, bolts and nails highlight functionality. Spring Summer 07/08 sees Kate Hurst's "Diamond Life" collection look to the silhouettes of the 90’s and the allure of exotic icon Sade. Black and white always being a staple in Kate's colour palettes, this season also includes cobalt, lemon and indigo denim. Metallic shades of pewter and silver are also a feature, highlighted in the show-stopping piece the “Silver Leather Night Sky Jacket”. “The cuts are refined, yet sporty, with a very sexy ready-to-wear element,” says Kate.

"Norman and the Starmaker" is the eighth collection from Saint Augustine Academy and draws reference from modern musicians and their palpable influence on society. The colour palette uses minimal tones and predominantly features indigo, charcoal, grey, black and white with some splashes of fire-engine red and gold. Modern fabrics and directional shapes make this range unique – particularly t-shirts and cropped jackets featuring old-school tuxedo-style tails and double-breasted cropped waistcoats.

Nevenka
has a unique style, one that is alluring and wild at heart. The spirit of Nevenka is to stay true to its deep Slavic culture. An Australian with European quality and tradition. Nevenka's current collection, "From Croatia with Love", debuted at Australian Fashion Week and features mini dresses, shifts, voluminous skirts and floor skimming gowns in rich colours, textures and patterns.

Following the amazing Buddhist Punk success, the Nicholas X Morley line continues with the playful fusion of rock and punk aesthetic mixed with 80s inspired graphic prints, silk-screened hoodies, t-shirts and jackets emblazoned with overt slogans such as "More Punk than Buddhist". Prints feature lightning bolts, skull and cross bones enhanced with Swarovski Crystal bling and a flashback to all things rock cool.

A love of vintage is the theme behind Yuli Yusup's latest Secret Wardrobe collection which features flowing dresses, high waisted skirts and architectural pinafores. Colour plays a key part with floral prints and a palette of peach, burgundy and cream peppering the designs. "I love colour but I also love black and whites, hence there is a strong current of both running through the collection." says Yuli.

The eponymous label, Valerie Tolosa, presented "Come fly with me" at Australian Fashion Week. The collection delivers effortless dresses in shapes of smocks and shifts. Using a silver geometric print, hints of yellow and purple, an amazing burnt out cotton and a mixture of silk satins and silk cottons, the overall feel is luxurious. Named by Marie Claire as a "designer to watch".
