Some shiny and new collections from talented labels Nevenka, Ruby
Smallbone, Javik, Aurelio Costarella, Mr Rose and schön...
'From Croatia with Love' is Nevenka's
Spring Summer 07/08 collection. A love of life captured in a fragrant
field of violets. Transport yourself to your favourite time of year.
Let colour warm your heart, weaving purple, symbolising love and
wisdom through your mind. Let intricate embroideries cocoon you
and drape yourself in romance. Hide beneath big volumes and star
in your own modern fairytale. In the end it's all about how it makes
you feel.

Spring Summer 07/08 sees Ruby
Smallbone's creative collaboration with Film Director,
Fiona McGee, come to life in ‘hide & seek’, a short
film showcasing this season’s collection. “I am so excited
about stepping away from a traditional parade environment and shooting
a film to capture this season’s collection. I love the fact
that this is an invitation to have a more intimate view of the world
of Ruby Smallbone,” says Ruby. Click to view hide
& seek.

Javik
(pronounced 'yar-vik') surged ahead to Autumn Winter 08 presenting
their latest collection to a packed crowd at their Sydney show last
week. ‘Without Beginning or End’ creates its own distinctive
appearance by combining fine delicate fabrics with a vintage touch.

Aurelio Costarella presents his Spring Summer 08 collection as part
of New York's Spring 2008 Fashion Week on the 10th of September
2007. 'Of Heaven and Earth' is inspired by the West Australian coastline
- the play of light on silvery sands, the sculptural formations
of water, the discovery of flotsam and jetsam, the ebb and flow
of the tides.

To launch their new Spring Summer 07/08 collections, online fashion
retailers schön - artisan jewellery by Traudl Troska - and
premium women’s shirting label Mr
Rose are hosting a three day Trunk Show at Melbourne’s
Sofitel Hotel.
The event will take place from Wednesday 19 to Friday 21 September
2007. Appointments are available from 8am until 8pm each day. For
