turn on the bright lights

With what is set to be their best collection to date, Mogil Winter 2008 is about challenging your perception of proportions. Anything but ordinary, blending what is, what is yet to be and what was. Think bags so big you can even take your pet and boots so high you need not wear anything else. They are no longer just a statement piece, but the outfit itself. Mogil has also introduced stunning graphic prints so dramatic, that they could not resist but extend the look to silk scarves.

Vicious Threads has conspired with its most famous cousins, Jupiter, Mars and Venus to bring you their latest collection: Volume 13 - Roman Future. The collection features exceptional detailing including leather toggles, ornate golden copper trims, delicate embroidery and beading on smooth silks and soft wools. Natural colours are contrasted with brights such as electric purple to add extra depth to the winter pieces along with interesting print techniques, washes and embedded woven knits.

Women’s shirting specialist Mr. Rose and silk flower accessory label, Bespoke by Sasha, will present their Winter 2008 collections by hosting a three-day Trunk Show at Melbourne's Rydges Hotel from Wednesday 5 to Friday 7 March. The by appointment trunk shows give you the opportunity to view the collections, try on pieces at leisure and be styled by the designers, all in the comfort of a hotel suite in the heart of the city.
