The idea for Gypsea Swimwear was born on the fringes of North Western Australia, inspired by the beauty of the Indian Ocean and the contrast of it’s stunning coastline.

Gypsea Swimwear is a collaborative between Scott and designer Emma Jones, their idea to create truly unique swimwear using nature as their inspiration and the body as their canvas.
The word Gypsea is best to describe Scott Bauer’s life as a surf photographer, roaming the world looking for the perfect breaking wave.

The blend of photography and fashion once again demonstrates how the female form is the perfect canvas for Bauer's images and Brereton’s stunning cuts.

“We are all very excited about the collection. The combination of combination of digital prints, fashionable sculptured designs and the best Italian fabric I could find give our clients a fresh and unique range of swimwear for the season,” says Bauer.

“The cuts of the swimwear have also become a little more daring, complimenting the natural curves of a woman. We also wanted to have a range of swimwear that women felt comfortable in.
