After graduating from the Australian Film Television and Radio School in 2002, Designer Bill Chen established Meet Tyrone to deliver his graphic art to a larger audience in new and interesting ways.

The Meet Tyrone clothing label began as an in-house design project originally using t-shirts as the medium. Following the success of his first foray into fashion, the brand has expanded to include jackets, pants, shorts and buttoned shirts for males & females alike.

Meet Tyrone’s 08/09 range features two themes ‘Murder Mystery’ and 'Back To The Future'. Inspired by some of the most captivating horror films, 'Murder Mystery' features four major prints; the 'smoking pipe', 'the crows', 'moon skull' and 'night watcher'.

The designs are symbolic of the fight between good and evil, the two often obscured and reversed beneath a veil of secrecy.

The ‘Murder Mystery’ range features assorted, comfortable light winter pieces for men and women. A variety of cotton T-shirts featuring the four prints are all available in navy striped, charcoal and white.

‘Back to the Future’ is inspired by time travel and the fascination with the parallel universe. It is about travelling at breakneck speeds in a time continuum to the future while the present stands still. The bright solid colours and symbolic geometric shapes play an imporant part in this range, which is melded with other inspirations from classic future representations.

The collection examines the very idea of time travelling by using different graphics and designs to deconstruct the phenomenon. The ‘Back to the future’ range features assorted, comfortable and light summer pieces for men and women.

Meet Tyrone’s original graphic T-Shirt designs feature three summer prints the ‘Clock’, ‘De Lorean’, and ‘Abstract’. All shirts are available in charcoal, white and turquoise and feature a new summer cut.
