Who is Mr. Rose?
Born from a love of innovation in design, tailored style and a need to explore the inner flamboyant, Mr. Rose creates beautiful women’s shirting for those who demand to be on top. Cut specifically for the femme form, Mr. Rose has designed an exclusive dual sizing system that takes into account women having a bust line. Working on the basis of clothing sizes 6-16, and factoring in a woman’s bust, the aptly named ‘Bud’ (A/B cup), ‘Blossom’ (B/C) and ‘Bloom’ (C/D) are available in Mr. Rose Classico and Tuxedo styles – say fare-thee-well to the “gape” and “sack-like” fits.

Exploring what is only divine in premium European fabrics all pieces are designed with a detailed edge and ooze sophisticated elegance. The collection of wearable pieces is laden with the exquisite tailoring techniques of French seams, exaggerated French cuffs, shaped collars, blouson sleeves and finished with Italian, Swarovski crystal and vintage buttons. Designed and made in Australia, Mr. Rose is available exclusively through its Sydney retail and online store as well as seasonal Trunk Shows in Melbourne and Brisbane.

The boutique is also home to Bespoke by Sasha, a new label by accessory couturier, Sasha Dalziell Bruty who has designed and crafted a vibrant collection of floral headpieces, chokers and brooches ideal for this season’s ode to the fleur in all its forms.

Mr. Rose Spring Summer 2008/09
As our alter egos embrace one extreme to another, Mr. Rose Spring Summer Collection will take you from the masculine to the feminine - depending on your stylistic whim. With flagship store opened in Paddington earlier this year, Mr. Rose has expanded its high-end collection of women’s Classico and Tuxedo European cotton shirting to new styles including sleeveless tuxedo shirts, silk blousons, shirt dresses and sleeveless jackets.

The Spring Summer campaign, “Expose your Alter Ego” was shot by leading Australian fashion photographer, Georges Antoni and illustrated with the stunning hand of Sydney artist, Will Leong. Believing there is always more on the inside, Mr. Rose sets out to expose the facets of our personalities that dwell deep within, challenging us to reveal all. Bashful vs brazen, unwavering vs unruly, regal vs rogue – the choice is yours – are you in or out?
