This year is Australian Fashion Week's 15 year anniversary

Tweets at 100 paces dominated the shows... we wondered how they watched the show, took pics and tweeted all at the same time.

WA had great representation this year from the likes of Aurelio Costarella Flannel, ae'lkemi, Kooey Swimwear and Carly Hunter.

All eyes on Dion Lee... would he deliver again? The answer is yes, see below.

Gail Sorronda's collection almost never made it here from Italy due to the volcano.

No backstage stoush between long time favourite of thewhitebook, Premonition and Nana Judy eventuated despite rumours of one.

Troubled Ksubi returned to close the week offsite with über stylist Brana Wolf at the helm.

The mood...
Ellery “The horreur of ze zodiac.”
Camilla and Marc “Print, colour and pattern.”
Zimmermann "Upbeat and fresh."
Romance Was Born "“Renaissance Dinosaur"
Ginger & Smart "Lightness, optimism and of future beauty.”
Kate Sylvester "tomboys and swoony poets."

Lisa Ho

Opening RAFW at the Art Gallery of NSW with Ho's signature prints and a palette of mushrooms and pinks.

Ginger & Smart

"The Transcedent", drawing on the spiritual world for inspiration. The look was effortless and feminine, their signature style.

Camilla
Inspired by the film Avatar, Camilla's kaleidoscopic kaftans, dresses and leggings exploded on to the catwalk.

Seventh Wonderland
Very urban and moody with cutaways and graphic prints in black, grey, white and blue and a great mix of one and two pieces.

Women's RTW - Carly Hunter

Has already scored orders for her spotted, drapey sheer pieces! Belinda Seper was seen running backstage after the show.

Aurelio Costarella
The bronzed goddess returns in 'Talisman' which captures the idea of magical powers. Amazing couture pieces with so much intricate detail.

Bassike
First time showing + launching a new footwear line. Clean, simple and wearable womens & mens separates. What you would expect from Bassike.

Christopher Esber
Stellar debut show with clean lines and high tech fabrics. A very covetable pared back, minimalist chic look. The next Dion Lee perhaps?

camilla and marc

An urban safari complete with turbans. Again the nude, pastel palette prevails for this Summer. Also launched their new jewellery line.

Zimmermann

Sorbet shades, florals, geometric prints and bold neck cuffs. Swimwear mainly one pieces with cut outs and watercolour prints.

Sara Phillips
The naughty but nice cowgirl. Midriffs, frills, cropped jackets, pleated dresses, high waisted shorts and yes... even the odd cowboy hat or two.

Flannel
Inspired by adventurous women such as Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. The range combines suede, leather, glomesh, silk and velvet. Image: Frockwriter

Nicola Finetti
Party dresses with lots of draping, tucking and rouching. Some dresses worn with leggings... interesting. Gorgeous gelato colours.

Friedrich Gray
Classic minimalism using luxurious natural fabrics with plastics, neoprene, memory yarns. Typical loose, layering and asymmetrical paneling.

Alex Perry
Over 1,000 guests watched Arabian goddesses glide down the longest runway possible in synonymous Perry red carpet gowns. Very old Hollywood.

Ellery
Inspired by The Zodiac. Colours reflective of star sign traits. Classic Ellery tough chic. Linens, silks & leather with great trims & shoes.

Therese Rawsthorne
Sticking to her aesthetic of soft, smart tailoring with a palette of platinum, nude, blood red & black, with digital and hand-screen prints.

Kate Sylvester
Casual feminine and masculine looks with military inspired blazers plus wrap dresses, bodysuits & shorts. Khakis, greys & greens. Image: Frockwriter

Jayson Brunsdon
The "Pool Scene" was modern and elegant. cotton chenille knit dresses, column dresses, full ’50s-style skirts. All cinched in at the waist.

Romance Was Born
Themed 'Renaissance Dinosaur', words cannot describe the depth and elaborateness of this collection which included a volcano dress.

Dion Lee
He delivers again! An extremely thoughtful & refined collection of Rorschach ink blot prints, knotted pleats & laser-cut sculptural blazers.

Ksubi
A back to their roots & highly commercial show with lots of denim, vests, cut-outs & trucker caps. Not the most inspiring end to the week.
